Donate to charity: Celebrity actress Jamie Lee Curtis hosts charity Halloween bash for CAAF

The Children Affected by AIDS Foundation is the only organization that provides support programs to millions of children impacted by HIV/AIDS in the United States and many other countries. CAAF sponsors programs for children that assist with their emotional, medical, social and educational needs. The Children Affected by AIDS Foundations helps more than 17 million children across the world who have been orphaned by AIDS. In the United States, CAAF supports over 200,000 women who currently live with the AIDS virus, and a vast majority of these women already have children who have been affected or impacted by AIDS. Celebrity actress Jamie Lee Curtis held a fundraiser Halloween party on Saturday night at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California. Donate to charity: The Painted Turtle Summer Camp in news as beneficiary of Hollywood gala event

he Painted Turtle Summer Camp is a camp based in Lake Hughes, California and serves only children who are chronically or terminally ill. The camp was founded by Page Hannah-Adler in 1999, and was then sponsored by celebrity actor Paul Newman as part of the group of Hole in the Wall camps. The Painted Turtle Summer Camp first opened its doors in 2003. All children attend camp free of charge. The Painted Turtle Summer Camp seeks to help children who have been afflicted with chronic diseases such as Crohn’s Disease, Dwarfism, Asthma, Diabetes, Chronic Arthritis, Spina Bifida, Hemophilia, Muscular Dystrophy, and children who have received kidney or liver transplants. Camp stays for each group are generally about a week long, and there is always one volunteer adult for every two children, with volunteer nurses who stay in the cabins with the children as well. Celebrity Scandal Update: Jenn Sterger reports additional contact attempted by Brett Favre

The NFL, in the wake of sexting scandal charges, will strongly consider conducting an interview with celebrity model and sideline reporter Jenn Sterger regarding the allegations of racy text messages and lewd photos sent to her by celebrity athlete and current Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre. Celebrity athlete Favre has already been interviewed by the NFL regarding the sexting scandal, with NFL vice president for security Milt Ahlerich handling the conversation. Not surprisingly, no details of that meeting have been disclosed. More news about the sexting scandal was revealed today, with celebrity model Sterger reporting that celebrity athlete Favre tried to contact her in 2009 as well, a full eight months after the original sexting scandal erupted. Celebrity Charity News: NHL star Scott Hartnell breaks out weed whacker for Locks of Love

When celebrity athlete and NHL hockey star Scott Hartnell walked into the players locker room before tonight’s game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs, his teammates were taken aback by what they saw. With a specific charity in mind, celebrity athlete Scott Hartnell allowed his teammates to see the back of his neck for the first time in three years. Yesterday, Hartnell decided that it was time to put various implements in hand and shear his head for charity. After a bit of time, celebrity athlete Scott Hartnell was sporting a new look, and Locks of Love was the recipient of a tremendous amount of fabulous looking hair to use for wigs. Locks of Love is a great charity that provides hairpieces to children who are suffering from long term hair loss due to their medical conditions, in many cases cancer. Continue reading
